Bolivia
Just a quick note for today. First, we have gotten some really nice comments about the Bolivia photo’s that we uploaded this past week. If you get a chance check them out, you will see some incredible Bolivian scenerey and plenty of photos of the gang like these.

You can also find a few other photos we have uploaded, we still have a lot of work to get another thousand of them (and growing) organized and uploaded but we are working on it.
We are still working on finishing a couple of stories about our trip and will get these up as soon as we can.
Argentina
Ok, so today is a travel day. Our rent is up on the flat here in Salta and it is time for us to leave. We have enjoyed the rest and relaxation time in this beautiful city, but the road is calling. (sorry for that cliche). Our plans were to head to Mendoza south of here, an area that is famous for its wines and that has been describedf as Napa Valley 40 years ago.
I was looking forward to seeing this region of the country because they not only grow grapes, but also many different types of tree fruits and OLIVES. I love olives and there are a number of companies in the region that produce both excellent Olive Oil as well as table olives…figured I would eat olives and steak for a whole month.
BUT - our plans have changed. We are jumping on a bus today but we are heading East not South. No, we are not heading to Buenos Aires…good guess. We will fill you in on why we made this last minute change, literally we made this decision yesterday after having planned to go to Mendoza for months. If things work out it is a pretty cool story that we can share with you when the time is right…so stay tuned for that!
Our bus ride today is 18 hours, plus another bus of an hour or so. This should be interesting!
