Cool Travel Families

I have collected a bunch of website and blog’s during the past year of other families, with kids, that travel. I have finally got around to adding these to the site (not like I have had anything better to do…just never got to it). Well, I finished posting them and you can find the links to their sites at the bottom left of the page under Traveling Families.

Not everyone is still traveling. Some of the families stopped years ago but their travel logs live on for all of us to enjoy and learn from. Many of these families are still traveling and I read their updates frequently!

One of the lessons that I have learned reading all of these family stories is that there is “no right answer” or “no one way” to do things. Each of there stories is unique, and fascinating, and inspiring.

There are families with babies, families with 8 kids (I am serious), and even a family that is biking from Alaska to the tip of S. America with their 2 kids! Many of the families are on an around the world (RTW) adventure, taking time off from work and other day to day responsibilities to travel with their kids circumnavigating the globe. A few families, like ours, have turned travel into a lifestyle and their stories are less about racing around the globe and more about the changes they have made in their lives and how travel is a part of that.
